NLI Board of Directors Election Results

Congratulations to Krista Harwick (Treasurer), Alida Lorenz (Region 1 Rep.), Tracee Hendershot (Region 3 Rep.), Bowen Harris (Region 5 Rep.), and Brandi Allred (Region 7 Rep.) for their election to the NLI Board of Directors!
These positions will take office on January 1, 2024.

NLI Treasurer Krista Harwick, DNP, RN, CNE began her nursing career in the ICU. She was recruited to teach for Lewis-Clark State College nursing in 2007, was appointed BSN clinical coordinator in 2011, and program coordinator in 2014. In 2017, she was selected Chair of Nursing & Health Sciences at LCSC and served in this role until August 2023 when she was appointed to the role of Associate Dean, School of Professional Studies at LCSC.

NLI Region 1 Representative Alida Lorenz, RN, MSN, NEA-BC obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from San Jose State University and her Masters in Nursing from University of Phoenix. Alida’s nursing career has spanned both clinical and healthcare business operations. She is the current Executive Director of Patient Care Services at Kootenai Health in Coeur d Alene, Idaho.

NLI Region 3 Representative Tracee Hendershott, MHA, NEA-BC earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and a master of health administration from Webster University’s Denver campus. Tracee joined HCA Healthcare’s West Valley Medical Center in 2017 as the Chief Nursing Officer and is board certified as a Nurse Executive. She is responsible for overseeing quality, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards, and all nursing functions.

NLI Region 5 Representative Bowen Harris, RN, MBA, BSN is a highly accomplished nurse leader known for driving excellence in healthcare through strong leadership, collaboration, and innovation. As the Chief Nursing Officer at Cassia Regional Hospital in Idaho, Bowen has achieved notable milestones. With a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, Bowen combines extensive experience with a passion for advancing the nursing profession.

NLI Region 7 Representative Brandi Allred, MSN, RN worked for a year as an LPN while she finished ISU’s RN program, which she graduated from in 2009. For the first few years of her nursing career, Brandi worked in Urgent Care, Home Health, and in a Critical Access Hospital. Brandi also graduated with her Master’s degree from Western Governor’s University in Nursing Management in 2019. She currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
