Nurse Leaders of Idaho

Nurse Leaders of Idaho is seeking volunteers to participate on the following board committees:

1.  Partnership Committee:  This committee is responsible for (1) coordination of legislative issues that are both Idaho based and nationally based.  This includes working with the hired lobbyist to coordinate activities of "Nurses Day at the Capitol,"  and coordinating ongoing legislative reports to the membership; (2) facilitate and plan the Legislative Workshop Day that is held in conjunction with the "Nurses Day at the Capitol," and (2) coordinate the support for the annual Nursing Recognition Dinner event including seeking sponsors, raffle items, and working with the planning committee to produce the event.

2.  Education Committee:  This committee evaluates, plans and coordinates educational programs that are sponsored by NLI.  In 2020 these education programs include coordinating the Leaders of Education and Practice (LEAP) conference,  3-Day Fundamentals in Nursing Leadership Course, and any other education programs that are identified as needed and sponsored by NLI.

To apply for membership on a committee you need to be either an (1) individual member of NLI or (2) an employee of an organizational member such as a School of Nursing or a healthcare facility.  Please provide your full name, email address and the committee that you are interested to be a member.
