Guideline Update: Instrument Cleaning 2026

The Guideline for Care and Cleaning of Surgical Instruments provides guidance for perioperative teams about cleaning surgical instruments, including point-of-use treatment, transport, decontamination, inspection, and general care of instruments. A systematic review of the current literature was conducted on this topic, and this guideline was updated. The relevant key takeaways and changes to the guideline will be presented in this webinar.
